About me

‘Luxury Cool’

Emma Frances Grant is a British illustrator whose imaginative and decorative designs draw inspiration from her interests in antiques, nature, and all things celestial.

With a background in Fine Art and Graphic Design, her work is an amalgamation of both traditional, painterly techniques and digital. Imagined studies of celestial spaces intermingle with hand-painted flora and fauna. Her designs create a tapestry of dream-like spaces with rich, layered, colourful, detailed, textured results.  She has an imaginative and unique body of work rich in content and inspiration; with elements such as safari animals, planets, coastlines and zodiac signs adorning her designs.

Publishers of her work past and present include Museums & Galleries, Woodmansterne, Gibsons and Ashdene Ladelle. Retailers of her work, past and present, include John Lewis, Waitrose, Monsoon, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Fortnum & Mason and Harrods. She is a three-times finalist for ‘Most Promising Young Designer’, and with over a decade’s experience as an in-house Designer before starting her own brand, Emma’s experience speaks for itself. Emma’s artwork has been licensed for a wide range of products from greeting-cards to puzzles, accessories, and ceramics.

Emma was born in North London but now resides and works from her studio in leafy Hertfordshire with her young family and rescue Greyhound, Mouse. Her passions include rooting around antique shops for unexpected sources of inspiration, yoga and telling Dad jokes.

Emma is now open to freelance opportunities through her agent, Jehane Ltd.
